Betty Lee Hutchinson (1925-2020), a Democrat and Newark City Council member (1977-1980 and 1984-1988) was born November 18, 1925, in Uniontown, PA, to Harry J. Truman, Sr. (1897-1965), and Merle Carte Truman (1901-2001).
